My training has been ruined yet again today: what did I wake to today but a freakin' MOUSE taking cover under the porch of my log cabin-shaped birdfeeder. He wasn't even eating, just wanted a roof over his head, and to stare at me thru the window. Since I apparently now have a rodent feeder, I'm considering installing a snake feeder near the other window so the gross-out factor will be complete. Does anyone know what cobras and coral snakes like to eat? I know bears like berries, so maybe I'll plant some of those while I'm at it...
