Tom: There's a product already invented and on the market. They're called "Yankz". They're elastic laces with a lace lock at the end. Shoe laces are the same tightness every time and never come untied. On the triathlon front, they also make it possible to slip into your shoes in milliseconds without having to tie them to speed out of T2 onto the run leg.


Of course, I wouldn't expect FBM to be up to snuff on modern technology. He's still running in the dark ages.
