Gang;

It's that time again: we're recruiting runners, walkers, cyclists and triathletes for the new season of events. There will be two Mobile and two Pensacola informational meetings and kick-off parties where you can have all questions answered, all fears allayed but, unfortunately, no valet parking. We have a brand-spanking new area coordinator who, besides being a TNT graduate, will be participating along with his wife in the new season's events, lending constant contact for team members. There's also a new state campaign coordinator, who is so cool she belongs in another universe.

The first Mobile informational meeting is this Wednesday, 4/06, at 5:30pm at the West Regional Branch Library (5555 Grelot Road)and the second meeting is at the Downtown YMCA (Water Street) on 4/12 at 5:30pm. Mobile's kick off party is set for the Banana Docks Cafe (yum, yum) on Hillcrest Road at 6:00pm on 4/20. You can sign up at any time; call the Mobile office at (251) 472-8123 to find out how if you can't make a meeting or the party.

We're recruting for The Nike Women's (men allowed!) Marathon & 1/2 Marathon in San Francisco on 10/23/05 and Disney's International Distance Triathlon in, d'uh, Orlando on 9/25/05.

There will also be informational meetings (and party) in Pensacola on 4/07, 4/13 and (party) 4/19.

Helping to cure blood cancers is a most worthwhile cause and training for an endurance event is a gift you give yourself. In exchange for raising $$ for the LLSA, you get a training program, group training, a slave-like crew of coaches, free travel and entry to your event, accomdations, and one of the nicest pre-race dinners and post-event parties you will ever experience, Not to mention that warm fuzzy feeling for helping mankind while helping yourself.

Come hear our pitch, you've got nothing to lose but a 1/2 hour or so. Am I right, or am I right?

Ok,

Mo
