My prediction is a "later than usual" cold snap/front will have just passed by on that Thursday evening/Friday morning setting up a Saturday morning low of 46. By the race (9:30) time, we should be experiencing clear skies and a temp of 56.
Winter-like conditions (for Mobile) are not over yet - they're just a little late this year.
