This was not a PCP produced race. We just helped the St. Jude's people with putting it on so any revival would have to come from them.
I believe the reason it stop was because the first year that it did not take place was due to Hurricane Ivan then the St. Jude folks decided that it wasn't worth it as far as what they were getting back from having it. Plus, it used to coincide with their benefit auction that was held at the Grand Hotel and since the Hurricane's damage to the Grand they've had to look for other locations.
I may not be accurate about this explanation so someone correct me if I'm wrong.
