Can't survive the one in Panama City. That race would make me smelted man, rather than Ironman. Too hot for this Eskimo. I'm going up north where the air temperature at race start should be about 55-60 degrees, the water will be well colder than wet-suit legal, where I'll probably be shivering for the first hour on the bike and where it will still probably be around 70 to 75 degrees by the time I start running. THAT's the only way I'm getting through an IM/2. That and the beautifully scenic and hilly roads of WV to give me something to galk at during what will surely be a 6-hour escapade up there in the hill country.
