The Heart of Champions 5K will be held on Oct. 6, 2007 in Bay Minette, AL beginning @ 8AM (1 mile fun run will begin @ 9AM) to benefit the Lighthouse (Baldwin County's domestic violence shelter & rape crisis agency).
The awards & door prizes are plentiful(ex. a Garmin Forerunner 201 GPS Watch, a weekend stay @ LaQuinta Inn Gulf Shores & other great prizes); participates will be treated to HOT Domino's Pizza, Subway Sandwiches, Starbucks Coffee, fruit, snacks & beverages.
Registration will take place @ the Kid's Park off McMillan Ave. the morning of the race. Entry forms are available @ McCoy's in Mobile, YMCA, & the Omni in Daphne. You can pre-register up until the 5 of October @ the Wellness Cnt. in Bay Minette.
The course is totally flat & USATF certified AL05034JD.
