Too bad you didn't ask what triathlons might not necessarily be recommended bu your co-Forumneers: After more or less randomly selecting a fall half ironman-distance race in a little town in Virginia, and after convincing two training partners this was THE ideal race for us, low and behold a judge I work with Googles the name of the race lake (which is about 8 hundred million acres big---soooo big that it appears on a map of the entire continental U.S.) to enlighen me on the shore-front nuclear power plants that the MAN-MADE lake was created to cool...

Of course, if you like unnaturally warm swims, we have two Air Tran tickets out of Pensacola and other ticket out of Gulfport that we'll make you a great deal on....

Whoever said triathlons don't give you the warm fuzzies never did this race...
