The 2005 Hurricane Run is officially postponed to a later date to be announced due to Hurricane Katrina. This race was started after Hurricane Frederick just about wiped out DI. We will run this race before the year is out. Meanwhile the club is donating every shirt from any and all races that we have in storage first to South Alabama, then to the folks in MS. We are also asking all club members to drop off clean adult clothing, diapers, children's toys and games, crayons, and clothing, towels, etc. to my house starting Monday, Sept. 5. I hope to have a large truck here to load the stuff into. But if I can not get it by then, I will fill up my house till I do get a truck. I live at 2008 Old Government St, Mobile. Ph. 473-5074.
