As many of you who ran the race on 01 October know, the course appeared to be a little too long. I remeasured and found the course to be about 283 feet long. This was adjusted and the next race will be run from this new measurement.
I made some calculations has to how much time to adjust per your pace. The race was official but these times may make you feel better.
Subtract these times (in seconds)
5min pace=16.25s
6min=19.5s
7min=23s
8min=26s
9min=29.25s

If you know your pace per mile you can convert it to seconds and multiply by the distance in miles

Your pace in seconds X 0.05415miles = time to subtract from your race.

I think this is correct. If any math majors see errors in this please let me know.
