The year that the course was messed up, ie the year the policeman improvised and we had a new course record of 10 minutes, yeah, THAT year, the Blue Bell Bombers DID NOT administer/direct/organize the race. Some of us were there, but goodness knows, not at the front of the pack leading the front runners astray.
We put on family-friendly, well-marked courses. For this reason, no grass skirts or coconuts. Not even astro turf and kiwis! Let's keep the race clean ok kids?
...and this event will not have ice cream, but I am working on a bakery donation!
