I ran the Holiday 8K on Saturday. What a great day for running. I'd like to thank all of you who made it possible.
I have had to leave the last two races as soon as I finished running them. I was not able to hang around for the social fun and awards. In both the Turkey 5K and the Holiday 8K, I got lucky and finished 1st in my age group (45-49). Were any awards given out at the end of those races? If so, what? Do you have to be present when they are given out in order to receive them?
