I'm going to have an Uncle Joe's Running Center/McCoy Outdoor water stop at the seven mile mark of the First Light Marathon on Sunday. I've moved from the water stop on Dauphin Street because I never got to see the half marathon runners and walkers and felt that I was missing half the field at the old water stop. Plus, the seven mile water stop is in front of my house.
If you'd like to have gel, fluid, etc. at the seven mile mark on the day of the race, just bring it by McCoy's by Saturday and I'll have it on the table on race day. Also as I did a couple of times, I'm going to have a bucket for throw-away clothes that I'll wash after the race and have at the store on Monday.
Volunteers are welcome and I can use any help offered. Good luck and I'll see you on race day!
