For all of you racers who might be interested in actually officiating at a USATF or NCAA track & field event, long distance race, or racewalking there will be a USATF Officials' Certification Clinic on Sunday, February 12, 2006 at St. Paul's School in Mobile.
Time: 1:00 - 5:00 pm
Place: Bedsole Bldg, Room B202
Cost: $35

Certification for all three categories will available for a total of $35. You may choose as many areas as you like. The certification is valid through 2008. All candidates must have a current USATF membership which can be done online at usatf.org. A resume of events and meets you have worked the last two years is also required. The resume could include coaching, race volunteering, club memberships, etc. It is in our best interests as competitors and volunteers that we have competent, knowledgeable officials for all USATF, NCAA and High School events.
