After I did my part of the course, I headed over towards the 14th mile,
and ran just shy of firestation hill, and back. I spoke to a few of the
participants, and they all were pleased with everything.

One fellow in particular told me, he was from Alex City, and this was
his 3rd time participating in the Larche Marathon. He mentioned how he
understood that everyone wanted this Marathon to grow, but he enjoyed it
just for the reason it is what it is, a small well organized marathon.
He was very gratitous, and expressed his thanks to all of us. I thought
that was a great response.

Prior to that response, I was pondering on what could possibly make
this marathon really grow, and I had an idea. I do think this could work,
but the reality it will never happen. Could you imagine if the folks who
lived along the course, were to party, and stand out and cheer the runners, like they do in Boston. Okay like I said, it will never happen. LOL
