I want to thank all who came out and ran the OM8K race. My hat is off to anyone who would stand in the rain to REGISTER ON RACE DAY, or stand on the porch of the oldest church in Mobile and wait for the gun or get up early, drag your cooking gear, and watch it get wet (thanks Roy! -Butch Cassidy's) It wasn't a great feeling sending 42 volunteers, in the bed of a pickup, out into the rain or watch the finish line go up while thunder boomed in the distance.
I truly appreciate the support and your good nature through it all and I hope all had a good time. (and your thirsty lawns got their share)
