Starting with the ATR, Pacer volunteers either worked the finish line for or produced 7 races in 63 days. That's a race every 9 days on average. At the end I know that Jean and I had lost our enthusiasm for races. I can hardly imagine how Peggy, Bill, Kerry and JohnO must have felt, because they get to the races a lot earlier in the morning and leave much later than Jean and I do. I suspect that we put on more races than we should out of the need to maintain our equipment and pay the rent on our office.
