Maybe they would get off their butts and run faster if they knew that the team was counting on them. The only other solution would be to have separate male & female competition. I thought that it would be less work for you to pick the top 3 percentile scores from 1 gender and the top 2 from the other gender. Do you understand the thoughts coming from my head?
