Victor, I make it a point not to discuss my "injuries" because to me it sounds like an "excuse" sometimes. But since you brought it up.....I would actually LOVE to be out there running in some of the races right now (now that it's cooled down to a "tolerable" level.)....but for the past month or two I have been severely limited in my ability to train at anything beyond a basic "fitness" level due to a Baker's Cyst behind my right knee. This cyst has also caused some other problems(knee) due to the restriction it puts on my stride. Right now I am just trying to get by on the bare minimum to enable me to get the slowest "qualifier" required to get back to Boston in '09. So there you have it, racing right now is not a good choice for me. Instead I will be content for now in training my team and helping them maintain their dominance on the local scene.
