I understand that Dave set another state record. Good job Dave! There was a 9 year old boy (Jase Bell) from Oxford that set a national record too. There were a lot of good times turned in.
Kenny Pfeiffer finished in the top 10 after doing 10 miles before the race. That's pretty awesome. Hanging with Kenny for the first five really helped me today. You should be well prepared for that Memphis marathon in a couple of weeks. Good luck!
Brad Davis had a very good race as usual.
Leonard Vergunst must not be human or something. I remember back in the 70's a couple of guys from Mississippi claimed to be abducted by aliens. Could Leonard have been abducted and enhanced by aliens somehow? Just one possible explanation.
We had several Bombers drop some serious time from last year too. We had one (Jenny Albrecht-Booth) finish in the top 3. Good job guys and gals.
