Totally agree with all of the above Victor. Leonard is certainly amazing. We (spiridon teammates) used to think he kept a secret stash of EPO on hand(LOL)....but Leonard's "secret" to success is focused dedication, training hard, and training smart! ....he is a BEAST! (I mean that in the highest sense of praise!).
I was proud of all our runners.....Jon Bowie set yet ANOTHER PR! If anyone would like to see a "perfect" model for what proper, consistent, dedicated training can accomplish for you, go back thru the Pacer results for Jon Bowie these past 3-4 years.......you will notice a steady, gradual improvement in his race times.......textbook!
I was also excited for Spiridon runner Justin Parker. Justin is on a path, getting ready for the Spring racing season and going back under 60-minutes tells us that he is right on track.......no small feat for someone becoming a "new" parent recently for the 2nd time! :)
Kenny & Brad each had exceptional races.....both are also right on schedule and well prepared for their upcoming marathons!
Overall it was a great day for everyone! One of the deepest quality fields I have seen for this event in recent memory.
