Su, my name is Alex and I'm 35 now and I had the surgery done on my left knee when I was 18.I twisted my knee playing tennis, then I when to the doctor the next day. When he told me that my meniscus was torn and that with surgery, he can trim it and make my pain go away, I told him to get it done. In two weeks after my first visit to the doctor I had the surgery. I recovered within a month but that varies. If the meniscus is torn, it's torn. I 100% recommend the surgery, but I can't tell you to get it done. It's up to you.
