I work right next to USA's campus and do most of my running around the swamp loop and Intramural areas. You can easily get in a 4.5 - 5 mile run on campus. There are usually a few runners that do run on campus at lunchtime and several more after work hours. Some of my co-workers run that area as well. With school being in session, there is even more activity around the swamp area with students playing frisbee golf so you won't be lonely on that course. In addition, there are usually one or two bikers riding their bikes around the swamp loop. Lastly, most of the students/drivers are very courteous to us runners in that area.
One more thing, if you get bored running on campus or wish to add a few extra miles, you can run over to Municipal/Langan Park as well.
