The Port City Pacers are releasing the race schedule for this coming season any day now. With that being said, we are in need of race directors for several races. We do not feel that it should be the responsibility of the board to have to step up and direct every single race. If anyone is interested in becoming the race director of the Hurricane 5K Run, Turkey 10 Miler, or the Battle of Mobile Bay 5K please let a board member know.
We are also still in need of a Course Marshal. We have talked about splitting the Course Marshall duties up into several groups of 2 or 3 people. With the Pacers now only producing 8 races each group would only be responsible for 2 or 3 races each. If anyone is willing to volunteer their time towards helping us continue to put on good quality races, your help would be much appreciated.
