It still gets me that the guy from New Orleans not only qualified for Boston but also bumped Larry Wayne from the course record book. I saw Larry come in the year that he broke that record. He worked hard to set that record. I wanted to challenge that record at some point but I know I cannot beat the fraudulent time set last year.
There should be a mat at the 13.1 point of the 26.2 course in Mobile. Is it that much more expensive to have a second mat? If not that then how about a video camera at that point or at mile 15 that rolls from the 1st runner to the last runner thru that point?
