First, I'll use this post to drop a little tease about a new "thing" along the route. Hope it helps to motivate you.

The ATR had a few little changes dating back to the Cruise Ship and overflow parking. Why the reverse. Well, points were made that from a one's perspective to be negative where others found it to be positive. Canal St was mentioned as ugly. Yeah, and it's less supported by the cheering groups. It's also treeless (warmer and usually a head wind). The thought is to get this out of the way when you don't necessary need the encouragement from the crowds. Get under the trees when the sun starts to come out. And finish with the support of the Government St crowds and parties. It's more spread out at this point so it's easier to take in the sights rather than focusing on the feet in front of you. Not debating here, it's just the thought process. The overall feedback was very positive of the change.
