I've talked with Timmy Jernigan and I think that he would probably agree with you about the chaos. He told me that after being banged and beaten about his already bruised body that he moved to the outer area of the swim which added distance and therefore time to his swim. It did enable him to finish though.
I congratulate all of our ironmen and ironwomen. I am quite impressed.
