For the details, click on the "Grand Prix" link in the menu on the left side of the main page, then select "rules".
Basically, it's a season-long competition like the NASCAR Nextel Cup. You score points for placing high in your respective age group at designated races. The top placing individuals in each age group win a free entry into a Pacer race the following season and, more importantly, serious bragging rights as to who is the most consistant runner among their peers. You have to be a member of the Port City Pacers to be scored in the Grand Prix.
