If you're staying in MS, there is a Rails for Trails (Long leaf Trail) route in Hattisburg, @ Univ. of Southern Miss.
In Mobile, you can run the Ist Light (Mobile, La Arche) Marathon route, but you'll have to watch out for vehicles and do your own water.
