Ditto about the volunteers. Mike Ryan - you and your staff did a great job of staffing the course with volunteers. As a relay member running miles 15-20, I was a bit worried, without any runners in sight around me, about missing a turn on the tourtous path through Spring Hill. At every questionable intersection, there were not only chalk arrows but a friendly face pointing the right way and offering encouragement. I've never seen so many supportive on-lookers in any race I've run in anywhere in the USA.

Leon: Thanks for the confirmation on the 15th mile marker. I was pretty sure I didn't run 6:05 for the first mile of my relay leg and I think poor Tracy was thinking that the last mile of his relay leg (the 15th mile) went on forever.

: )

I hope the race continues. I'd really love to run it someday if I can ever get my mileage up to where I can successfully cover the distance. IN the mean time, I'll keep running relay legs.

Leif
