The University of South Alabama Campus is a good place to run on grass.
It is not too far to drive. If you go to McCoy's for shoes. it is about two miles from there. Also Langan Park is close by but the "running path" there is concrete and it is mostly walkers. Most runners prefer not to run on concrete.
