We need to upgrade the membership accounting system -- make it more manager and member-friendly. It should be an online system, with the database on our web server. In such a system, when a check payment is posted to the database, an email receipt is automatically sent. Renewal notices are automatically sent by email a certain number of days before renewal date. Members can pay online. The PaceLetter mailing list can be generated automatically on demand by the PaceLetter editor.
I created such a system for Tider Insider. I could adapt that system for our needs. All I need is time. If anyone has any extra, please send it to me.
