I followed Leif as closely as possible. I drafted when I could and let him do the work. This worked until we got to the turnaround point at 2 and 1/2 miles, then as Snoop Dog would say "he dropped me like I was hot". Good race Leif! I'll drop a few more pounds and try it again.
I'm glad that the race was a success, Mamie and the Bombers, kind of sounds like a band doesn't it. The two ladies, Mamie and Lynn (using the term loosely in the latter case), worked very hard on this one.
