Thanks Victor. When you were still on my shoulder at 1 mile, I couldn't hardly believe it. After than, I was running scared until about 500 meters to go because, unlike past defeats, I had no excuse on hand at BOMB. I was primed and ready to fly and felt good the entire race. Man, I'd have never lived it down if you'd have beat me on a day like that.
You loose a few pounds I'll do some more speed work and between us, a lot of people who are used to beating us will have to be satisfied with the view of our behinds. Looks like the "Gate" is moving and that people will have to run a little faster now to get past the gate-keeper.
I've been prepared all week to rebuke any comments about the incident at the starting line. I can't hardly believe no one has taken a pot shot from the peanut gallery.
