Kerry: In addition to all the running activities, the Mobile Shakespeare Company will be performing "The Taming of the Shrew" in Cathedral Square both Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. Flyers will be placed in all the runners envelopes but extra publicity would be welcome. There is no charge for the play and anyone who saw "As You Like It" last spring knows what a treat they are in for. Additionally, if you are familiar with the play, you know that after the shrew has been tamed, her husband hopes she can tame her sister and her friend, the widow. The widow is really not tamable and has a rather defensive attitude....sound like any one you know? I will be performing my first Shakespeare role, definitely with a Connie Jo twist to it...one of my lines is "I don't think so". Make plans to attend and give us all the publicity you can. Thanks and War Eagle.
