Does anyone know if it's possible to get a scoring chip on race day for the Classic (I doubt it, but could be wrong)? I've never run where chips were available, but it appears the time may not be "official" without one. It seems like runners might be somewhat penalized for not having a chip, but this may not be helped if it's not possible to get one on race day. Any thoughts about how this works in general or for the CCC are much appreciated.
Also, congratulations to those superhumans that passed through the Gait, as the Keeper shows no mercy. That's just plain awesome. Athena, looks like your gimpy knee was just fine! I'd have traded with you all day long. The ATR served me a plate of humiliation, with a side order of hot fries and swan to-go box! As they say in the old country, back to the drawing board.
