The finish medallions were beautiful, I'll tresure mine the rest of my life. The police and volunteers were all very nice and people all along the course cheered on even an old back-of-the-packer like me. The only technical flaw in the whole event was that mile 15 was misplaced but I think most local runners know where it is supposed to be.
Personally, I was disappointed in the numbers in the marathon, our local runners have to support this great event, sign up and fun run(walk) it if you have to, but don't let it die from lack of participation.
