I know a man with good vision who ran into the back of the road grader (yeah, I live in the country) because the sun was rising in direct line with the road. So you can imagine how invisible a bike can be when a driver is facing the sunrise or sunset. Also, the next time that you are at a red light take the time to count the cars going by with drivers on their cell phone. Most of the time, it is between 30% to 50% at any time of day. On top of those 2 problems you also need to factor in the idiots that are trying to buzz by you as close as possible. Good luck!
