In reference to Dave, he is effective as a teammate because he wants to be and we have a connection with him, Lu and Melanie Moore. We actually communicate and have even run together other than as a warmup or cooldown at a race. Has any Spiridon runner done a training run (not a race warmup or cooldown) with Leonard in the past 2 years? This is not about Leonard himself at all of course. I'm just questioning the actual connection that Spiridon has to him.
Leaonad is a great runner, race director, organization president and nice guy. I really like doing some of his races in Mississippi. He probably remembers me as the idiot gasping for breath trying to stay on his shoulder for 1 mile in a 5k race, as part of my training for the Moonlight Mile in past years. I then collapse of course at 1 mile and barely finish the race.
