Hey, I never said I was a team player or that I played well with others. That I was the ONLY one who didn't seem to grasp the structure of the "Individuial-Team" Time Trial indicates that I am the one who has a problem with following directions. I'm sure it won't surprize you to hear that it's not the first time I've been told that. : (
However, in honor of my countryman Thor Hushovd winning green in the REAL Tour de France, all I really wanted to win anyway was the "Green Cap Sprint Award". Heia, heia, heia . . . : ) My compliments to Senior Leonard who gave me quite a scare in that competition.
I must also say that, after years of preparing for long, grueling time trials with intervals and tempo work, that it felt REALLY GOOD to have an excuse to go FAST again.
