I have run over 300 races and in all that time I have never known of a race being cancelled whatever the weather. We're racers and runners not joggers out for a sunny Saturday morning shuffle. Well done Monetta. If I hadn't been so annoyed that I'd just driven all the way from Mississippi I would have joined you out there. In future if a race will be cancelled because of inclement weather I'd appreciate it if you would say this is a possiblility and put a contact phone number on the registration sheet. That way we can call prior to leaving and not waste a morning driving all the way to a race before finding it has been "postponed."
