Has anyone really heard of any of the top 30 from this year's past race besides Richard and Bowie? Were any of them considered a top 10 or 20 road racer? I have no idea, just asking...

I think we have the same basic feelings...if money is going to be spent on "professionals" then they should be RACING and battling it out for the entire 10K not just the last 1/4 mile.

Does every race have to have its race proceeds go to a charity? Is it possible to put on less expensive races and have what little proceeds are left go towards putting on the next race. Then at the end of the year, the Pacers could divvy up whatever is left to charity?

At some point, people are just not going to pay to run a local 5K in Mobile, AL. There is some fancy term for this point that only someone smart like Victor or Mo would know.
