As a man on a budget, I would have to cut back on races if the price doubled to $30. I am glad Lil Red Hen has come in to existence. I want to support Peggy for sure. My question is are the prices that our Police demand out of line with most cities?
I do like doing the Gulf Coast Running races to support Leonard because he does put on a nice race for an economical price. Of course, Leonard pretty much does the whole thing himself. I almost expect to see him at every intersection. He would probably still kick my butt after I passed him at the last intersection. Once again, is the police support cheaper everywhere else? Is Mobile just not race friendly? What are the rules on police and intersections? Would more volunteering reduce costs, can volunteers sub for police?
